This coffee is specially crafted and blended for the people who call the three rivers area their home. This area has been my family’s home for three generations. I am proud to be from here, so I have chosen this place to start my coffee roasting company. Here where the big river bends at the confluence of the Cowlitz, Coweeman, and Columbia rivers, lies all of the things that make the pacific northwest great. Summers full of intertube floating down the Toutle river, hiking around Mt St Helens, and backyard barbecues with family and friends, watching beautiful sunsets fade into darkness. Summers gently give way to autumn’s changing leaves with walks around lake Sacajawea, and we can’t forget this is fantasy football time of year as well. It’s time to be reflective and thankful for what we have. As winter approaches, this area can be breathtaking, from the changing views of the surrounding mountains turning white with snow and beckoning for different activities. It’s this time of year to find comfortable hoodies and sit by warm fires as the excitement and joy of the holiday celebrations find us hustling and bustling, rounding out winter activities. Then, as the snow turns to rain and the warming temperatures turn to eager anticipation of spring gardens coming to life with flowers blooming. The air smells different, and the days are getting longer. Now is the time to do spring cleaning chores from the winter’s effects and prepare for summer’s return. Finally, any season is a time to celebrate our community and this great place we call home. All of you inspired this coffee; thank you for welcoming Rivers Bend Coffee into the community and your homes; we appreciate and welcome you with open arms.
